Live Traces is a new online platform for contemporary live art and performance in Europe, funded and supported by the Central School of Speech and Drama. The website revolves around a changing theme relating to live performance, constantly provoking fresh discussion. For Live Trace’s pilot they reflect on and respond to the title of the magazine Live Traces, looking at the re-enactment and documentation of live events. Springboarding from the theme Live Traces offers a critical dissemination of live art practices, alongside covering newly commissioned work by live artists.
